The TempTrust Green was developed using a PLA (Polylactic acid) film which is a bioplastic derived from plants. Strength comes from a unique blend of Roxul™ stone wool that occurs naturally as a byproduct of volcanic activity. This mineral wool is made from 90% recycled material (stone and steel making slag), that breaks down into inert sand when disposed. It also does not rot, sag, promote bacterial growth or lose R-value.
The remainder of the solution includes a cardboard outer and payload corrugate box and water-based, non-toxic gel packs that can be reused and disposed of in standard waste streams.
The only non biodegradable material is the aluminum lining of the PLA and plastic casing of the gel packs. These components, however, are fully recyclable.

The complete solution includes an outer corrugate shell, sectioned aluminumized PLA panels, payload box, frozen and refrigerated gel packs, and complete pack out diagrams and SOPs. Below are the available options:
